Retrofit of Moisture Mitigation

This month's speaker is Chris O'Brien

This presentation will address evaluating concrete structures to receive high performance coatings and analysis procedures for investigating coating failures.
Topics covered will include:
- Proper testing procedures- ASTM F 2170, F 1869,  D3359, PH, environmental, etc.
- Substrate contamination
- The role of the environment on coating installation and failure
- Core samples
- Proper pre and post job documentation
- Avoiding litigation when coatings fail.

During the last 23 years Chris O’Brien has worked with  specification writers, architects, building consultants, general contractors, facility managers, home and business owners to design and execute coating and overlay projects that beautify and protect. He holds patents on both processes and equipment,  has authored articles for numerous magazines,  served on the board of directors for several profit and non-profit corporations and  is actively engaged in the manufacturing, marketing and
salesof specialty coatings all across the United States.
